After years of displacement, violence, and rising floodwaters, communities in Southern Unity are reclaiming their future through community-led flood resilience. With support from RSRTF, youth and local residents in Panyijiar and Mayendit are building life-saving dykes—restoring land, unity, and hope.

From conflict to craftsmanship—Akot's journey from an idle youth in a violence-prone village to a thriving tailor in Tonj is a powerful reminder of what targeted peacebuilding and vocational training can achieve. Through RSRTF’s Kong Koc Area-Based Programme, hope is being stitched back into the fabric of communities once torn by conflict.
